City of Valley 2012 Redistricting
The Valley City Council held a Special Called Council Meeting on Thursday, May 17, at 6:00 PM at Valley City Hall on the redistricting of the City's voting districts. A public hearing was held before the meeting to discuss the proposed changes to the City’s voting district boundaries.
After the public hearing, the City Council voted to adopt Ordinance 2012-11 approving the new district boundaries. The redistricting is contingent upon acceptance of the proposal by the Department of Justice.
