At the Valley City Council meeting held Friday May 9th, Mayor Arnold Leak presented a proclamation to Valley Police Chief Michael Taylor that declared May 11-17 2008 as Police Week in Valley and publicly saluted the services of law enforcement officers in our community as well as those across the nation.

Mayor Leak also presented the Valley Historic Preservation Committee with a proclamation declaring May 2008 as Historic Preservation Month in Valley.
