Commission receives grant
The City of Valley's Historic Commission received a Seed Grant at the Twenty Sixty Annual Supper Meeting of the Historic Chattahoochee Commission on Thursday,September 25th held at the Jimmy Raines Great Southern Wood Conference Center in Abbeville, AL. The grant was awarded to the local commission to help fund the promotion of the upcoming historic community-based play "A Cotton Mill Christmas" . The play will be written and performed by local citizens and will be based on the many Christmas traditions of the Valley.
