Wednesday morning at approximately 11:45 AM the bridge spanning I-85 at Exit 77 was officially named the Hennon L. King Bridge at a dedication ceremony held at the bridge. Valley Mayor Arnold Leak welcomed state and local dignitaries, Mr. King's family, and friends who were in attendance; Valley City Councilman Ray Edwards introduced Mr. King, the guest of honor. Following the ceremony at the newly named Hennon L. King Bridge, a luncheon was held at the Valley Community Center in Mr. Kings honor where resolutions and presentations were given to Mr. King.
