It doesn't happen often, as a matter of fact, it hasn't happened since January of 2002. But, Saturday, January 19th, 2008, "Snow Fell On Valley, Alabama" and the surrounding area and, for a little while, created a 'winter wonderland'. We didn't have a white Christmas, but we did have a white January 19th. Below are scenes from the snow of 2008.
