City Guest Book

    My Mother and Father went to and guaduated from Valley High School.  I was born in Langdale, in 1951, and lived in the Valley.  I grew up going to the Valley Baptish Church.  And I remember the drug store that was near by that had the best shakes, and a ball field out back, down the steps.  The summers were great, going to the back water, water sking everyday and staying all summer.  Even tho I haven't been back for a few years, it will always be home to me.  I can still see the stores, remembering back in the early 60's, the hardware store that used to sell fallout shelters that were to be buried in the ground.  Still think I saw one the last time I drove by.  My grandfather used to put the boat in at the Willis place on the back water, have seen that place changed, remember seeing them as that were building the dance floor over the water years back.  I could go on and on about the times I had at the Valley.  Now I live in Dayton, Ohio, and work at Wright-Patterson AFB.
