The City of Valley has something that makes it highly attractive as compared to the surrounding cities and counties in the area...NO PROPERTY TAX!  That's right, there is no property tax in the City of Valley. When Valley was incorporated, property tax was a major issue and it was decided at the time that Valley would not have a property tax. So, the only tax you pay on property is the county property tax. That's a pretty good deal.

With the City's location and no property tax, there are many excellent opportunities for investors and developers in the real estate market. In addition, there are quite a few 'starter homes' available in the area for first time home-owners. Morever, for people who might be wanting to relocate and are looking for a great place to live - how about a small, progressive town 'where people care and share' and where there's no property tax. And, don't forget....we have a River!
