Off Site Facilities
The Shawmut Kindergarten and the Riverview School Cafetria can be rented for various functions. City Hall handles the rental of these properties. For more information call 334-756-5220.
The following sites are available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. The City of Valley Parks and Recreation and the Chambers County School system have a shared use agreement and have priority over public use.
SHAWMUT CIRCLE BALL FIELD
The Shawmut Circle Ball Field is located at 23rd Drive in the Shawmut Community.
- Ball field with 200ft fence
- Lights and concession stand
- Playground for children ages 12 & under.
RIVERVIEW PLAYGROUND
The Riverview Playground is located on California Road in the Riverview Community and is for children ages 12 & under.
TATER MILNER FIELD
Tater Milner Field is located on 29th Boulevard in the Shawmut Community.
- Field has lights, but does not have restroom facilities
VALLEY CITY PARK
The Valley City Park is located on 24th Avenue West in the Langdale Community.
- Playground for small children
- Picnic tables
- Ball field has lights, concession stand, restroom facilities, and a concrete walking track circling the field with a 200ft fence.
- Valley City Park is the designated home field for the Valley High School Fast Pitch Softball Team.
